Step 1 - Education: Experis Academy's training in collaboration with Trafikverket

Experis Academy and Trafikverket offer you a job that begins with intensive training in IT operations and then consulting assignments and specialization at Trafikverket in Gothenburg, Stockholm, Borlänge, Örebro, Gävle, or Eskilstuna.

Experis Academy is part of the IT consulting company Experis, which in turn is part of the international Manpower Group. Our training programs have grown and developed over the years, both in Sweden, the Nordics, and across Europe. We work extensively with coaching to give our employees the opportunity to complement their technical skills with other soft skills. Employment begins with an intensive training course conducted by Experis Academy where you are paid from day one. After completing the training, all participating employees will start working as consultants at Trafikverket, what we refer to below as the specialization period.

Step 2 - Specialization period: The role of IT technician - be part of working for the infrastructure of the future!

As an IT technician, you will play a key role in IT operations and be involved in the further development of Trafikverket's data center environment. Your focus will be on the operation and maintenance of server environments as well as automation.

Your main tasks will include:

• Working with daily operations of servers, virtual machines, and system services.
• Installing, configuring, and updating systems as well as managing users and permissions.
• Monitoring systems, managing storage, and performing preventive maintenance.
• Contributing to secure operations through security measures and improvements.
• Automating tasks with scripts.
• Documenting routines and technical instructions.
• Providing technical support to the organization.
• On-call duty may be included in the assignment.

As technology evolves, there are good opportunities for you to further develop your skills, including in areas such as system integrations and automated functions within the delivery area. You will become part of a competent and engaged team that delivers IT services of high quality.

Who can apply?

We are looking for someone with a strong interest in technology and IT - and who wants to develop together with others. You are forward-thinking, curious, and naturally inclined to drive your own work forward, both independently and in collaboration with your colleagues.

We also expect you to:

• Have completed secondary education.
• Communicate fluently in Swedish and English, both written and spoken.
• It is advantageous, but not a requirement, if you meet any or some of the following criteria:
• You have knowledge of Linux.
• You have hobby projects in IT.
• You have some experience in operations and troubleshooting.

Practical information

Training start: March/April 2026 - this can be adjusted according to the right candidate.

Training and specialization locations: Gothenburg, Stockholm, Borlänge, Örebro, Gävle, or Eskilstuna.

Working hours: Full-time.

The assignment requires that you undergo and be approved according to the applicable safety regulations.
