About the job
As an EA with a focus on business and information architecture, and as part of the Swedish Tax Agency's architectural governance, you are a key person in the work towards the target architecture and the transition the agency is making towards an information-driven and digitized operation. You support the agency's development within the domain of personal taxation and contribute to meeting today's and future's demands. You work together with other EAs within and around the domain. The role also includes supporting and possibly driving individual development initiatives.
The Swedish Tax Agency uses SAFe as an agile framework. You collaborate with system architects and development teams to get their input to understand their operations and contribute to their ability to apply and realize target and conceptual architecture. The work involves a lot of communication with different teams. You also support various management functions in goal and strategy work.
We expect you to have experience in, and be comfortable with, describing the benefits of architecture and promoting its contributions and solutions in a clear and pedagogical way that the recipient understands.
Your tasks as EA
As an EA, you are responsible for planning and coordinating architectural work and driving the work forward together with others. We expect you to be strategically forward-looking and have experience supporting the business with architecture in vision and goal work. You have experience leading workshops and producing documentation of architectural concepts based on business capabilities. You can provide recommendations that create value so that visions and goals can be realized.
You belong to the Development Unit within the Personal Taxation Department in Sundbyberg. The department operates in several locations and the unit has about 30 employees. You are part of the EA team, which currently consists of 3 members in business/information and IT architecture.
About you

In this job, you should:
- be goal-oriented and contribute to achieving the purpose of the operation
- be able to communicate relevant messages in different types of forums and target groups, and express yourself well in speech and writing in Swedish
- see the whole and recognize the importance of details and be able to make delimitations
- have good leadership skills where you can take initiative and drive work based on the specific situation
- have the ability to collaborate and build relationships, be pragmatic, and listen to others' perspectives
- be able to analyze information flows, see connections, and make decisions.
You should also have:
- a university degree of at least 180 higher education credits (120 credits) in a relevant field or several years of current and relevant work experience in qualified work within a relevant area for the position
- several years of current, practical, and relevant work experience in business and/or information architecture at the enterprise level in a large complex IT environment
- current and relevant work experience in planning, driving, and leading architecture at a strategic and tactical level within a large organization
- current work experience in communicating and anchoring architecture and pedagogically explaining the purpose and value of architecture to different target groups.
It is meritorious if you have certification in business architecture, information architecture, or other equivalent certification relevant to the role. It is also desirable that you have relevant work experience and competence in modeling tools; at the Swedish Tax Agency, we work with Sparx EA. Furthermore, it is meritorious if you have certification or current and relevant experience in change management and/or project management.
Good to know
The employment is permanent and may start with a probationary period of six months.
Employment with us may involve placement in a security class. A security review with a background check according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may therefore be conducted before a decision on employment. For some of our tasks in security class, Swedish citizenship is required.
