We are looking for a consultant/interim Java developer for our client in Stockholm with immediate start!

Are you a consultant and an experienced Java developer who wants to step into a project where you can contribute from day one? We are currently seeking a consultant for a high-performing team that works with modern backend solutions in Java and AWS! Here, as a consultant, you will be responsible for the entire delivery from idea to production together with your colleagues in the team. This is a project for you who thrives in a technically advanced environment, appreciates collaboration, and wants to drive architecture forward together with other senior developers. Start immediately for 6 months with good opportunities for extension. The assignment is 100% and you will be based at the client's office in central Stockholm, but you also have the option to work remotely.

This is what you will do with us

• Primarily program in Java in close collaboration with your colleagues and product owners
• Develop and further develop REST APIs and backend systems
• Work with Dropwizard, PostgreSQL, Git, Maven, and AWS
• Participate in pair and mob programming

Your team and workplace

You will be part of the Group Payments team focusing on a common platform and will also collaborate with a Norwegian operations team and several other sites in Europe. Your closest team consists of developers, testers, analysts, and product expertise who together are responsible for the entire delivery chain within their domain.

The work environment is characterized by collaboration, high technical competence, and shared responsibility.

The work takes place on-site from the office in central Stockholm, with the possibility of remote work.

More about you

We are looking for someone who is familiar with the consultant role and can quickly adapt to the client's environment and existing technical solutions. You have about 5–10 years of experience as a backend developer in an agile organization. You are self-sufficient, confident in your skills, and used to delivering value directly in new assignments.

You have experience with Java, Dropwizard, REST APIs, PostgreSQL, Git, Maven, and AWS. You feel comfortable in architectural discussions and are happy to share your knowledge with colleagues. Furthermore, you thrive in a consulting role where flexibility, responsibility, and collaboration are a natural part of everyday life.

You are fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
