Senior 1st Line Support Technician

ABOUT THE POSITION

As a Senior 1st Line Support Technician, you are the hub of their IT support, responsible for providing first-class service and technical support to their 2500 users. You will be a key player in their team, focusing on resolving issues independently and efficiently, as well as escalating when necessary to 2nd line. The role means you are an important part of building their new internal IT support function and contribute to a stable and user-friendly IT environment.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Responsibilities

You will handle a wide variety of IT issues, from basic troubleshooting to account management and support of peripheral equipment, with a focus on high service and quick solutions for their users. You will be a key player in shaping and delivering a high-quality internal support service.

  • Case management via phone, email, and JIRA.
  • Troubleshoot clients (Windows, macOS) and network issues at the user level.
  • Manage user accounts in Active Directory and EntraID.
  • Provide support for M365 applications such as Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, and SharePoint.
  • Support for conference rooms, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
  • Documentation and maintenance of knowledge base.
  • Be the face of IT Operations towards the business.
  • Assist with basic hardware troubleshooting for computers and mobile devices.

WE ARE LOOKING FOR YOU WHO

  • Advanced experience in Windows and macOS client troubleshooting.
  • Very good experience with M365 (Outlook, Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint).
  • Very good experience with Active Directory/Entra ID.
  • Experience with case management systems (e.g., JIRA or equivalent).
  • Good ability to troubleshoot hardware (computers, docks, monitors, networks at the user level).
  • Troubleshooting printers, conference equipment, and iOS/Android devices.
  • Strong communication skills and fluent in Swedish in both speech and writing.
  • Ability to work 100% onsite and with shift work (07:00-18:00).

It is meritorious if you have

  • Basic knowledge of Intune.
  • Understanding of networks (DNS/DHCP) at the user level.
  • Knowledge of MFA, VPN, and RDP.
  • Experience with onboarding/offboarding processes.
  • Experience working with external suppliers.
  • Basic Powershell skills.
  • Experience from larger organizations.
  • IT-oriented high school education or equivalent.
  • Relevant certifications.
