About the Role

We are looking for a systems engineer for our client in Järfälla who wants to work on the development of advanced management and monitoring systems. You will enter a technical environment characterized by structure, quality, and clear processes, and you will work throughout the chain – from requirements specification to testing and deployment at the end customer. This is a position for you who thrive in complex projects, appreciate order and clarity, and enjoy having many technical interfaces.

Your Responsibilities

As a systems engineer, you will work with:

Requirement gathering and test case development
Maintenance and development of existing requirements
Documentation of system architecture and system design
Analysis and presentation of technical solutions for both internal and external parties
Participation in the entire development process, including testing and deployment
Requirements management in tools such as Doors Next
On-site work in a security-classified environment

About the Team and Work Environment

You will be part of a Systems Engineering group that works broadly with requirements, system design, and technical analysis. The group currently consists of systems engineers, technical project managers, configuration managers, IT security experts, and technical writers. In 2026, a restructuring will take place, meaning that the group will consist solely of systems engineers moving forward. The work is conducted on-site in Järfälla, with a planned move to Solna later in the year.

Requirements Profile

Mandatory Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer engineering, computer science, systems science, electrical engineering, or equivalent experience
Experience in areas such as real-time systems, safety-critical systems, or traffic management systems
Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

The position requires a security clearance according to applicable legislation. Citizenship and background may affect the possibility of approval.

Desirable Qualifications

Interest or experience in systems or aviation safety
Experience with systems that have high security requirements
Experience with real-time systems
Deeper technical knowledge in Windows and Linux
Experience with requirements tools, preferably Doors Next
Experience with testing and developing test cases
Experience with management systems
