Riksbank is looking for ICC Manager/Lead

The Riksbank is Sweden's central bank and a key player in the Swedish economy. We are on a comprehensive transformation journey within IT development, integration, data, AI, and security. Now you have the opportunity to take on a strategic key role and influence the journey ahead.

Do you want to shape the future integration platform in an organization where integration is mission-critical? We are looking for a leader for our Integration Competence Center (ICC). In this role, you will be the product owner and management leader, with overall responsibility for the Riksbank's integration platform. Your focus is to future-proof and lead the platform into the next phase.

THIS IS WHAT YOU WILL DO WITH US

The Riksbank's ICC is an established and central function that has built the bank's integration capability over many years. The role of ICC Manager/Lead is new and created to take collective responsibility for the platform's strategy, governance, and development – responsibilities that are currently distributed among several people.

You own the whole: from strategic direction and development to management and future choices. The mission involves further developing the platform for new needs while ensuring stable and reliable operation of existing integrations.

The role combines strategic responsibility with operational work and requires solid technical understanding to make well-informed decisions and drive the work forward. You work in the intersection of technology, business, and architecture and guide the technical direction to ensure that ICC creates value for the entire organization.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Own and develop ICC's strategy, service offerings, and long-term direction
  • Overall responsibility for the integration platform's product, management, and development
  • Ensure stable, secure, and scalable operations
  • Be responsible for developer and user experience and internally strengthen the positioning of ICC
  • Drive platform development based on business needs
  • Manage suppliers, tool ecosystems, and decisions regarding purchases or in-house development
  • Be responsible for budget, cost optimization, procurement, and contract negotiations
  • Monitor the external environment and guide technology and architecture decisions
  • Lead and develop the ICC team through resource and capacity planning (without formal personnel responsibility)
  • Project manage overarching change initiatives as needed

YOUR TEAM

ICC consists of two employees and six consultants, as well as cross-functional collaboration with developers and architects. ICC is part of the IT development and Data Platform unit, which manages in-house developed applications and common platforms for development, testing, data, and AI.

You work closely with your stakeholders, teams, architects, infrastructure specialists, and security experts in an environment that values technical excellence and knowledge sharing.

MORE ABOUT YOU

We are looking for someone who combines deep technical expertise with strategic thinking and clear leadership. You understand the importance of having stable operations and effective management and are structured, responsible, and used to driving issues from idea to implementation.

With a trustworthy and relationship-building approach, you build bridges between technology and business, navigate different contact points and stakeholders, and create engagement around change. You are comfortable in the role of overall project manager in complex environments.

Required Qualifications:

  • Relevant academic education in, for example, computer science or equivalent relevant work experience that we assess as equivalent
  • Several years of experience in integration and integration platforms
  • Strong technical background and understanding of modern architectural patterns, event-driven architecture, as well as SDLC and version control
  • Good understanding of security, availability, and scalability in mission-critical systems
  • Experience in product ownership, technical leadership, or similar strategic role
  • Ability to lead projects and drive change
  • Experience in leading and developing teams
  • Budget and cost responsibility within IT, as well as experience in supplier management and contract negotiation
  • Fluent in Swedish and English

Preferred Qualifications:

  • TIBCO's integration tools
  • Other integration platforms
  • Message brokers and event streaming
  • Microservices, container-based architectures, including Kubernetes
  • Hybrid or cloud-based integration solutions
  • Cloud platforms
