Senior Project Manager – IT Transition & Digital Workplace Services

Consulting assignment starting in February.

We are looking for an experienced and senior project manager for a strategic consulting assignment at a larger organization. The assignment involves leading and driving the transition of Digital Workplace Services according to a defined transformation plan developed by the supplier.

In this role, you will be the client's internal resource and take primary responsibility for planning, coordinating, and managing the entire transition. You will ensure that all project phases are executed according to schedule, that deliveries meet agreed requirements, and that the collaboration between the supplier and the client functions smoothly and effectively.

About the role

In this role, you are responsible for planning, coordinating, and driving the transition of the digital workplace services according to the established transformation plan. You will create and manage the project plan together with the supplier and ensure that all phases – from analysis and design to implementation, testing, production deployment, and handover to BAU – are executed according to schedule. You will act as the main contact between the client and the supplier, lead meetings and workshops, and ensure that the right information is shared at the right time.

You will continuously follow up on deliveries and acceptance criteria, manage risks, deviations, and changes, and be responsible for ensuring that the handover to management occurs according to the agreed process. The role also involves ongoing reporting of status, progress, and risks to the steering group and stakeholders, focusing on transparency, quality, and effective collaboration throughout the transformation.

Competence requirements

• Documented experience in leading complex IT transitions and transformation projects, preferably within digital workplace services.
• Good technical understanding of platforms such as M365, VDI, JamF, Power Platform, Dex, security solutions, and integrations.
• Experience working in the interface between client and supplier in larger organizations.
• Ability to drive projects towards clear goals and deadlines while managing multiple parallel deliveries.
• Excellent communication skills and experience leading meetings and workshops.
• Experience in risk management, change management, and quality assurance.
• Fluent in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
