About the roleWe are looking for an IT Operations Engineer who wants to take broad responsibility for the operation, security, and further development of a complex technical platform. The role is suitable for you who enjoy hands-on work and want to contribute strategically to technology choices and architecture. You will become a key person in a dynamic phase where there is great scope to influence, improve, and build new. The position encompasses everything from cloud operations and container solutions to local IT environments and client management. This role is a great opportunity for you who want to have a significant mandate to influence the technical direction of a company where technology is at the center.

Your future tasksIn this role, you will work closely with the company's CTO and have broad responsibility for securing, further developing, and future-proofing the IT environment. The focus is on cloud operations, infrastructure, and security, but the role also spans strategic decisions and long-term technology choices.

You will be responsible for the operation and optimization of cloud services, as well as ensuring that the platforms meet requirements according to ISO27001 and other security frameworks. The daily work involves maintaining and further developing environments based on Kubernetes, Windows, and Linux, and managing administration of Microsoft SQL Server.

An important part of the role is also to work with networks and infrastructure – for example, switches, firewalls, and routing, as well as automating workflows through scripts and tools that you will help choose. You will also contribute to technology choices regarding containerization and architecture, and act as a sounding board in strategic technology issues.

In addition, there are client-related issues related to office networks and user support, but this constitutes a smaller part of the role.

We are looking for someone who has

To succeed in the role, we believe you have several years of experience in operation and administration in complex IT environments. You should have good technical breadth and experience in both operational work and strategic thinking.

We would like you to have:

• Experience with Windows Server and Microsoft SQL Server

• Good knowledge of Linux, preferably Ubuntu

• Experience with Kubernetes and container-based operations

• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or equivalent

• Knowledge in network administration

• Previous work with ISO27001 or similar security frameworks

• Ability to script with PowerShell, Bash, or Python

It is a plus if you also have:

• Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code, such as Terraform or Ansible

• Experience with hybrid environments with both local and cloud-based infrastructure

• Ability to design scalable and secure operational environments
