JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

In the role of support assistant, you work according to our pedagogical approach. You primarily support the residents in their daily lives through a low-arousal approach and with clear pedagogical methods. Furthermore, you work to weave together the residents' social networks. A starting point for your work is good collaboration with relatives, guardians, and other instances that are important for the residents. Based on our users' needs, a secure staff group is needed that stands firm in adversity and understands challenging behavior and its various forms.

It is important that you as an employee are curious about finding tools that give users the opportunity to develop and feel involved. To be comfortable with the fact that this mapping is lifelong and constantly changing. The job includes promoting the development of the user's resources to provide the best possible conditions for an independent life with high quality of life. It is important for us to view the workgroup as a whole where we create a dynamic work environment through collaboration.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• Is educated as a support assistant, caregiver, or has other equivalent education.
• Has previous work experience from operations within LSS and works from a low-arousal approach.
• Is well acquainted with digital platforms and has experience documenting in systems.
• Holds a B driver's license.

You have the ability to share information and ideas, both verbally and in writing, and you adapt your communication according to the recipient, target group, and situation. You communicate with users, relatives, and colleagues in an empathetic, attentive, and respectful manner. Just as you need to ensure that the user and relatives understand the information given, you clearly show that you have understood the meaning of the information given by users, relatives, colleagues, and supervisors. To succeed in the role, you are secure in your personal values and the values the organization stands for.

You need to function well in challenging situations and maintain calmness and curiosity in all situations. You are a person who truly wants to make a difference for the individual, wanting to be the tool for good living conditions. You are driven to find solutions and create development. You are open to trying new things but understand and respect routines that work.
