Aspens preschool is located in the picturesque Aspås and has three departments with age-divided groups. We are now looking for a childcare worker/resource person who wants to help create exploratory, supportive, and developing learning environments. We are looking for a colleague who, together with other educators, wants to shape an operation where children are in focus and where systematic quality work is the common thread to make children's learning visible.
The Department of Education and Child Care has about 800 employees. The department's activities extend throughout the municipality and include preschool, primary school F-9, adapted primary school, after-school care, food and cleaning, mother tongue, and library services.
A day as a childcare worker/resource person at Aspens preschool
Working at Aspens preschool means being an important adult in the lives of preschool children, where the perspective of safety and an inclusive approach go hand in hand with meeting children's needs and interests.
At Aspens preschool, you will work together with preschool teachers and childcare workers in work teams. As a childcare worker/resource person, you will work with your colleagues based on the preschool's governing documents and the responsibilities of the work team.
Children's learning is made visible through digital pedagogical documentation, using an iPad or computer as a working tool. Documentation is an important part of our daily reflections and also in the systematic quality work that moves the operation forward and makes learning visible.
In the role of childcare worker/resource person in our area, it is important to be attentive, communicative, and solution-oriented. We work with inclusion, participation, and accessibility as fundamental ideas.

All preschools in Krokom municipality work with five common operational goals. As support in your daily work, you have close cooperation with colleagues, special educators, pedagogical developers, and the principal.

Your competence
We are looking for someone who has experience working in preschool or with younger students in preschool class or school. You are familiar with the national governing documents for preschool.
As an individual, you contribute to a good work environment by meeting others with respect and have the ability to share your positive energy. Working in preschool is varied and requires the ability to see the whole so that the solution is as good as possible for all involved. You are confident in your leadership role, have the child in focus, and are solution-oriented.
If you have experience working with clarifying pedagogy and low-arousal responses, it is an advantage. We value the ability to create safe and inclusive environments in interaction with the child.
You have good communication skills, the ability to reflect, take responsibility, and collaborate, and you see preschool as a whole where all adults work together with and for the children. We see that you have a good ability to create and maintain good relationships with both children and guardians.
Completed childcare worker education is an advantage.

The position is a fixed-term employment that lasts until June 30, 2026.
