JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

The Open Care Unit of Åre Municipality is organized within the Department of Individual and Family Care (IFO) together with the units for alcohol and tobacco, the assistance unit, and the authority, adult and child and family.

The Open Care Unit consists of eleven employees, of which eight are therapists, three youth coaches, and one family coordinator. The open care in Åre Municipality works both on behalf of the Individual and Family Care's authority unit, but also preventively both independently and through collaboration.

As a therapist, you will work with target groups of children, youth, and adults. Together with your colleagues, you will work individually and in collaboration with family treatment and individual treatment towards clients. You will document and follow up on your cases. In addition to the direct treatment work with individuals or families, you will lead group activities and training. The work is characterized by close collaboration with treatment colleagues and social workers.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience in social work with children and youth
• Knowledge of current legislation
• Driver's license B
• Good ability to express oneself verbally and in writing in Swedish
• We are looking for you with a degree in social work or other relevant post-secondary education for the assignment

It is advantageous if you have:

• Experience in treatment work
• Experience in working with addiction treatment
• Experience in child conversations
• Experience in family treatment
• Experience in authority exercise
• Experience in social work with children and youth
• Experience in social work with adults

As a person, you have a good ability to work in a team, can build trust and good relationships both internally and externally. You can reflect individually and in groups, can take responsibility for the operations as well as your own and others' work situations.
