The Public Transport area is responsible for planning and developing all public transport in Örebro County. The goals within the area include working to increase the number of passengers, customer satisfaction, and reduce energy consumption. Within the area, there is the Service Trips unit, which is responsible for the administration of medical trips, processing transport service applications, quality development and follow-up, as well as coordinating service trip traffic through the Order Center. The Public Transport area is part of the Regional Development administration. The administration works for regional development in our region. Our mission is to work for sustainable growth and a good quality of life throughout the Örebro region.

Transport Service Investigator for the Public Transport area within Regional Development Job Responsibilities

As a Transport Service Investigator, you will work with:

. Processing cases, from application to decision

. Investigating, interpreting laws and political directives, and making independent decisions regarding transport services and national transport services

. System administration, mail handling, and archiving

. Daily contact with customers via phone and email as well as by mail

. Informing internally and externally about transport services and national transport services

You will work in and collaborate with a team that takes joint responsibility for developing the operations and driving the business forward with a focus on quality and efficiency. The Transport Service Investigation belongs to the Investigation and Planning section, which has a total of fifteen employees who also handle medical trip administration.

You have:

. An academic degree as a social worker or behavioral scientist or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent

. Experience from previous case handling or investigative work from, for example, social or care administration or other government experience

. A good ability to express yourself well in both speech and writing

It is an advantage if you have knowledge and experience of working with administrative law matters.

As a person, you have an easy time communicating and collaborating with others, and you have a great commitment to your tasks. You have the ability to quickly switch between different tasks and are used to working both independently and in a team. You are organized and quality-conscious. We believe that you always put the customer in focus through a professional approach and a respectful attitude even in more difficult customer contacts.
