We are looking for female personal assistants for a 68-year-old woman living in Solna, who requires assistance around the clock, including awake night shifts. She is a humorous person who appreciates assistants with a warm personality and a twinkle in their eye. Your engagement and presence mean more than you realize!

Due to breathing difficulties, it can sometimes be exhausting for her to speak, which requires you to be observant, empathetic, and independent. The work involves medical care, including handling oxygen and a ventilator. You need to have a good understanding of breathing and be able to act quickly in case of changes in her condition. Since her energy and physical ability vary, adaptation to her daily condition is required, along with the ability to read the situation. You need to be observant, empathetic, and able to act quickly in emergencies. A good understanding of Swedish, both spoken and written, is important to use documentation as support.

The position includes a 75% employment rate with fixed schedule shifts, which means you have a clear structure and know how you will work each week. In addition, there is also the opportunity to work extra if needed.

We are looking for someone who:

• Experience in medical care and use of oxygen and ventilators, or relevant education.

• Finnish-speaking is an advantage for better communication and cultural understanding.

• Attentive and flexible, able to adapt to her daily condition.

• Works independently and interprets body language during strained communication.

• Careful with hygiene routines, including masks and gloves.

• Confident in handling changes in her condition.

• Has an eye for nutritious food and is good at cooking.

Your tasks include, among other things:

• Personal hygiene and care – Ensuring care needs in a respectful and professional manner.

• Cooking and assistance during meals – Preparing nutritious food and assisting during meals to ensure fluid and nutrient intake.

• Toilet visits and showering – Assisting with toilet visits, personal hygiene, showering, and changing clothes with respect for privacy.

• Support in daily life – Assistance with mobility, doctor visits, and other errands.

• Start date: As agreed.

• Employment rate: 75%.

• Agreement: Introductory shifts and about a month of hourly employment before the regular employment rate is assigned, provided that everything goes well. This gives you a chance to feel secure and well-prepared for your new role.

• Work shifts: Day and evening shifts, as well as awake night shifts and weekends.

Recruitment Process

We continuously contact candidates who are relevant for a first interview. The position will be filled when we have found the right person, which may happen before the application deadline. Your application will be processed by staff at ENKV assistance, together with the client, and any relatives, guardians, or other concerned parties. If the position involves working with a minor client, a criminal record extract is required.

Employment Conditions
