Welcome to us
Järva Support has about 25 employees who provide services to around 400 clients aged 18 and above throughout the district.
The operation is led by a unit manager, and the employees work in three different teams.
The operation is part of the social psychiatry's execution area, which includes, in addition to housing support, meeting places, employment, group homes, and personal representatives. The social psychiatry's execution area is led by a district manager and two unit managers. Together we are about 60 employees.

Your role
As a support worker with us, you will have assignments with clients throughout Järva. You will have a number of clients for whom you are a support person. Based on the order, you will create an individual plan for, and together with, each client. This includes both practical tasks inside and outside the home as well as providing support and assistance in structuring everyday life. You will also be responsible for ongoing documentation and implementation plans, ensuring they maintain high quality.
Qualifications
We see that you have:
- Education as a nursing assistant with a focus on psychiatry, mental health worker, social educator, treatment assistant, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer.
- At least 1 year of experience working with the target group.
- Knowledge and experience working with individuals with various mental disabilities.
- Very good knowledge of the Swedish language, both spoken and written.
- Good computer skills.
We consider it an advantage if you have:
- Good knowledge of Independent Living (ESL), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Low Arousal Approach (LAB).
- Knowledge of the English language and other languages.
The role of support worker places high demands on structure, communication, and flexibility, which is why we are looking for someone who enjoys taking responsibility for planning and structuring their workdays. You are used to working alone and can independently make decisions within the framework of your assignment when required. A good approach is important.
