Job Description

As a resource guard, you will primarily focus on patrolling operations and work at night. As a patrolling guard during the night, you will work in the most central parts of Stockholm and be part of a smaller team. You will start from our location office on Regeringsgatan and then head out on patrol where you will perform classic patrol guard tasks such as patrol assignments, lockings, alarm connections, and responding to alarm events. Occasionally, shorter stationary assignments may also occur in the schedule, making the work varied and dynamic.

Being a resource guard means a greater responsibility where you step in where needed, so this position suits you if you enjoy variation and being outdoors – you will drive around in the city and be where the action is. Our operations run 24/7, every day of the year, and the work is scheduled in twelve-hour shifts between 18:30 and 06:30 with a 5/4 schedule, meaning you work two weekends a month.

• Educated with at least Vu2
• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B
• Previous experience in the security industry

Preferred if you

• Are trained as a security guard

We see that you, as an applicant, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them in a creative way. For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information collected may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
