Security Guard and Safety Host at Gröna Lund

A prerequisite for Gröna Lund to be a place where magical memories are created is that we always have a strong focus on safety and security in the park. Every year, approximately 1.5 million people visit the amusement park, and the security department's mission is to contribute to a safe and secure experience for visitors during all park opening hours.

Security Guard

As a security guard, your primary task is to work with your colleagues to ensure safe and secure experiences for all visitors to Gröna Lund. We host about 60 concerts each year, many featuring world-renowned artists on our stages. This means that on certain days when we have a larger event, you may be part of a larger team.

To thrive and succeed in the role of Security Guard at Gröna Lund, you are inspired by meeting people from all parts of Sweden and the world. You have a very good ability to communicate with people and you find it natural to always try to resolve any situations or conflicts verbally. As a person, you are calm and stable. You radiate service and security and always want to help. You will be seen as a role model by both large and small visitors as well as by all of Gröna Lund's employees. This places high demands on responsibility and professionalism. Previous experience in public environments such as other concert venues, festivals, or perhaps previous experience at Gröna Lund is an advantage. It is also beneficial if you have prior experience working with youth in some form, such as a youth leader in sports or other youth activities. Since you will have many colleagues, you enjoy collaborating and spreading positive energy to your coworkers.

Furthermore, it is a requirement that you have completed an approved security guard training, have a valid Security Guard License, and are at least 20 years old. The position is primarily a seasonal employment that runs from April to September 2026, but since we have some form of activity during all months of the year, we are also looking for those who want to work part-time and extra as needed during the remaining parts of 2026. Working hours vary, including day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Safety Host

In the role of Safety Host, you will primarily work with security at our concerts, which involves everything from conducting security checks at the entrances to working with security at our stages, directed towards both the audience and our artists. This may include everything from being responsible for backstage access to working in the pit during a concert. Other tasks may include directing traffic, maintaining various barriers, and managing queues, etc.

We believe you are passionate about providing the best service to all our visitors, and due to the nature of the tasks, a strong sense of responsibility, professionalism, and very good judgment is required. You enjoy a fast-paced environment and as a person, you are calm and stable and always want to help. As you are part of a workgroup, you enjoy collaborating and spreading positive energy to your colleagues. If you have previous experience working with security and safety at other public events, festivals, and concerts, we see this as an advantage. We will place great emphasis on personal suitability, and the most important thing is that you are engaged, attentive, and have a phenomenal sense of service. You must be at least 18 years old.
