About the Position

As a security guard, you will work in public places where many people are on the move. Therefore, it is important to be stress-resistant, have high social competence, and possess good perception skills. You should be able to perform your duties as a security guard effectively, lawfully, and uniformly.

A security guard needs to express themselves correctly and clearly in contact with the public. This also includes your physical presence, where you need to be aware of the signals you send out, as the communicative skills are an important part of the trust-building work of a security guard.

Job Responsibilities

You will work in a vehicle patrol together with a colleague and alongside other vehicle patrols on the assignment. Your task is to operate throughout Stockholm where we have permission from the Police Authority to serve. The purpose is to create safety and security for the city's residents and businesses, focusing on crime prevention and safety-promoting issues, alongside the fundamental duties of security guards to help maintain public order.

The position is full-time with working hours from 13:00 to 00:00 starting from January 2nd. You will be based at our premises in Västberga.

Qualifications

To work as a security guard, you need to be security-conscious, service-oriented, empathetic, and have an inner sense of security and a natural drive to help. You should be able to combine good service with a pronounced security mindset and have good communication and collaboration skills.

To qualify for the position, you must meet the following basic requirements:

• at least 20 years old according to §4 of the Security Guards Act (2014:401)
• valid security guard license
• good Swedish and English in both spoken and written form
• valid driver's license (B)

It is advantageous if you have extensive experience in the industry and hold a security guard training certificate. Additionally, you need to be free of criminal records*, drug-free, have a stable economy, good health and physical condition, and have a high school diploma or equivalent education.
