Avarn Security is tasked with delivering security services to Stockholm Arlanda Airport, which includes staffing with Airport Controllers, Security Guards, and Watchmen. For many years, we have also provided security services to Malmö Airport (Sturup), Sälen Airport (Scandinavian Mountains Airport), and Oslo Lufthavn Gardermoen.

We offer you an exciting job at Scandinavia's largest security object, which will consist of work in security checks and some stationary surveillance. You will be based at the security control where you work as an airport controller but will, if necessary, reinforce our security guard group. High demands are placed on you as an individual to maintain a high level of security at the site. The job requires good collaboration skills and the ability to make sound decisions independently. Being communicative and physically fit is essential to thrive in this role. You need to be flexible and enjoy that tasks can change at short notice.

The working hours are full-time, provided you are approved for required training and have received the relevant licenses for the position. Until then, you will have a 70% employment. You will primarily work as an airport controller in security checks and support surveillance as needed at our various positions, where gates are the most common. Working hours are distributed across all hours and days of the week. Interviews are ongoing. The position is permanent with a 6-month probationary period starting after agreement with the requirement to complete training that will be provided to be able to take employment at Arlanda. Two years of work experience is advantageous for this position.

The position requires you to be able to carry a weapon. An assessment conversation will be applied for this competence before weapon training takes place.

It is advantageous if you are already trained as a security guard and airport controller. If not, we will ensure you receive training. Other experience from the security industry is also advantageous.

Requirements for Applicants:

• Swedish citizen
• At least 18 years old
• 2 years of work experience is advantageous
• No criminal record and drug-free *
• High school diploma
• Good Swedish in speech and writing
• Orderly finances
• Driver's license B

Advantageous for the Position:

• Several years of experience working in the security industry
• Security guard training
• Guard training Vu1 and Vu2
• HAS training
• Experience in independent work

To work at Arlanda, a successful security clearance is required, which means you must be able to document your employment over the past five years.
