Job Description

In this role, you will be part of a security guard patrol serving within the state’s maritime museums. You will work at Kungliga Djurgården adjacent to parks and museums. As a security guard in this position, you are responsible for ensuring that visitors, both national and international tourists, receive a premium service experience. The job largely involves patrolling and collaborating with various stakeholders such as staff, business owners, and tourists. You play an important role in the client's operations and are expected to deliver service and support based on the developed service concept for the area of responsibility.

Some examples of your service areas will be: Galärparken, Vasamuseet, and SS Sankt Erik. Work will take place both indoors and outdoors.

Working Hours

This is a full-time position, daytime, with working hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM, during the period of June, July, and August 2026, with the possibility of extension. You will work in a pleasant and historic environment in Stockholm.

Qualifications

We are looking for someone who has a valid security guard permit or has a scheduled security guard training during the spring of 2026 and who has good Swedish and English skills in both spoken and written form.

We seek someone who wants to work in a safety-creating role and has a natural ability to combine service with a pronounced security mindset. You are meticulous and patient in your work approach as there will be a lot of work with people in this role. Furthermore, you are communicative, empathetic, clear, and have the ability to be flexible and adapt your way of solving arising situations in the best way. We are looking for individuals with inner security and a natural drive to help and contribute with first-class service. You are proactive with good body language and understand the importance of meeting customers professionally, with eye contact and a smile.

We are looking for someone who enjoys working with people and has a natural drive to help. Furthermore, you should be security-conscious, service-oriented, and empathetic. You should be able to combine good service with a pronounced security mindset and have communication and collaboration skills. The job requires you to be flexible and adaptable.

In addition, you need to be unpunished*, drug-free, have organized finances, good health and fitness, and have a high school diploma or equivalent education to be employed at Avarn Security.

It is advantageous if you have a background in security training and/or other training that can be considered relevant to the position.
