Smart Parkering Sverige AB is currently responsible for parking supervision, operation, and management of garages and parking facilities. We do this on behalf of property owners, housing associations, and management companies. We provide smart, tailored digital and environmentally friendly solutions as well as the most customer-friendly platform on the market. We operate in several locations across the country with a headquarters in Stockholm.

The Position

We are now looking for a parking attendant for our assignment in Uppsala, based out of our office in northern Stockholm (Järfälla). The work is scheduled during the day from 08:00 to 17:00, Monday to Friday, but may change as needed. Working as a parking attendant is characterized by "freedom under responsibility" where you independently monitor our clients' facilities to promote traffic safety, increase accessibility, and improve the living environment.

You will be employed in Stockholm, and the job may require shifts in other parts of the region.

Responsibilities:

• Monitor facilities by car and on foot.
• Ensure compliance with parking regulations.
• Ensure that correct and clear signage is present in the area.
• Issue control fees for violations.
• Assist parkers on-site with parking-related questions.
• Assist parkers on-site with questions regarding our digital services.

We believe you have a positive attitude, a sense of accuracy, are good at communicating with others, and have a strong character. Furthermore, we see that you easily maintain good order and organization, can plan and organize your work independently, and have a sense of quality. Qualifications:

• Held a manual B driver's license for at least 4 years
• Very good knowledge of Swedish and English

Meritorious:

• Previous experience as a parking attendant or in security

We are looking for someone who is:

• Flexible, as the job involves varying workdays, working hours, and a lot of outdoor work

Employment:

Start date is by agreement and begins with a 6-month probationary period. The work starts with an internal training of about one to two weeks on the laws and regulations applicable to parking and signage (private property). Upon employment, an extract from the police's criminal record will be requested. Salary and employment conditions are based on collective agreements.

The salary for a new employee is 26,243 SEK per month.
