Your Responsibilities

In the role of Senior Expert in electricity network fees and tariffs, you will be responsible for designing, analyzing, and managing Telge Nät's electricity network tariffs, ensuring compliance with current regulations according to the Electricity Act and the Energy Markets Inspectorate's regulations.

You will own and further develop tariff models with fixed fees, energy fees, capacity fees, and time-differentiated tariffs, as well as work on follow-up regarding the consequences for the revenue cap. The role also involves interpreting regulations, assessing the scope for interpretation, and ensuring that tariff setups hold up under scrutiny.

You will act as an internal expert and advisor to management and the board, as well as provide second-line support to customer service. An important part of the assignment is dialogue with customers, companies, property owners, and housing associations, where you will explain in a pedagogical manner how electricity network fees are structured and how changes affect different customer groups.

Your Profile

Requirements

• University degree in energy, energy systems, engineering physics, industrial economics, or equivalent
• At least 5 years of relevant experience in electricity networks, electricity network regulation, tariffs, and energy market analysis
• Practical experience in working with electricity network tariffs and revenue caps
• Very good knowledge of the Electricity Act, the Energy Markets Inspectorate's regulations, and electricity network regulation
• Strong analytical skills and very good proficiency in Excel and modeling
• Ability to explain complex tariff and regulatory issues in a pedagogical manner

Desirable

• Background from electricity network companies or the Energy Markets Inspectorate
• Experience in dialogue with management, boards, or regulatory authorities
• Experience with capacity fees and time-differentiated tariffs
• Familiarity with BI tools such as Power BI and/or SQL.
• Understanding of MDM/CIS and the connection between measurement data and billing
