The Assignment

We are looking for someone who wants to work with us to contribute to good public health, create opportunities for magical moments for our guests, build safety, and provide a social meeting place. We work in teams with rotational shifts. The shifts are scheduled, including evenings and weekends. Responsibilities include lifeguarding, cashier and café duties, as well as cleaning.

Challenges and Opportunities

During the peak season and nice weather, we experience a very high demand at our facility, and the workdays become intense and demanding. We work together as a team with clear routines. We also have an exchange program with Norrtälje swimming pool where staff can switch facilities as needed and possible. For those who wish, there are good opportunities to remain involved in our operations at the swimming pools in the municipality throughout the rest of the year.

What You Need to Bring

Requirements

• 18 years or older
• Swim competent (knowledge requirement equivalent to the Gold Badge)
• Experience in service roles
• Team-oriented/experience working in a team
• Criminal record extract

Meritorious

• Knowledge in lifesaving
• Experience working in swimming facilities
• Qualified swimming instructor
• Water fitness leader

As a person, you are responsible, calm in stressful situations, and have a service-oriented and friendly demeanor. You are solution-oriented and enjoy collaborating. We place great importance on personal qualities.

Hallstavik outdoor swimming pool is a summer gem for both residents and summer guests. The pool has a 25-meter swimming lane with 4 lanes, an adjoining play area with bubbles, a diving lagoon, climbing wall, and water slide. There are showers and saunas, as well as large areas for sunbathing, playgrounds, beach volleyball, and table tennis. There is a cafeteria that we staff ourselves, offering a simple selection.
