Information Security Coordinator

The Financial Supervisory Authority (FI) is now looking for an Information Security Coordinator.

About the job

As an Information Security Coordinator at the Financial Supervisory Authority, you will work to direct, support, and develop the agency's work in information security. You are responsible for ensuring that information and systems are managed securely and appropriately throughout the organization.

You will coordinate and further develop FI's management system for information security (LIS) and support the organization in implementing and applying it in daily operations. You will conduct risk analyses, information classifications, and impact assessments, as well as develop and implement governing documents in the field.

Additionally, you will participate in efforts to educate and guide managers and employees in secure information management and in developing routines and methods that strengthen FI's information security. You will continuously monitor the status of the information security area and report to management and relevant steering groups.

Your education and experience

We are looking for someone who:

expresses themselves well in Swedish and English, both orally and in writing
has relevant academic education in information or IT security, system science, or other education deemed equivalent by the employer
has substantial work experience in information security.

It is an advantage if you:

have relevant training in security protection, for example from the Security Police, the Agency for Civil Protection, the Armed Forces, or the Swedish Defence University
have documented pedagogical skills
have previously worked with information security in larger organizations or public operations
have experience in risk analysis, incident management, and governing documents
have experience with management systems and audits
have experience in conducting training initiatives or change work
have experience working in the security protection area.

You are expected to contribute to a good and open collaboration while actively driving your work forward and making decisions within your area of responsibility. You communicate clearly and adaptively to different target groups, and you plan your work with a long-term perspective. Furthermore, your pedagogical ability is an important part of how you create understanding and engagement in others.
