WE OFFER YOU
At the Riksbank, you will find challenges and development in a dynamic environment where the Swedish payment market is in focus and the work with continuity and preparedness is prioritized. A significant part of the work involves collaborations and contacts both internally and externally, nationally and internationally. With us, you will have a meaningful job where you, together with knowledgeable and committed colleagues, contribute to continuity, preparedness, and further development in critical infrastructure.
THIS IS WHAT YOU DO WITH US
As an experienced specialist in continuity and preparedness, you play a central role in ensuring that the Riksbank can maintain its essential operations in all situations. The work in the payment area broadly involves analyzing risks and vulnerabilities and identifying and implementing measures required to strengthen resilience. Since RIX is a system of crucial importance for the Swedish payment infrastructure, the system's availability is very important.
You are responsible for leading and driving the organization's work in the continuity and preparedness area together with two colleagues. You lead and coordinate the incident organization, plan and conduct internal and external scenario exercises, and you educate and participate in various forums both internally and externally where communication primarily takes place in English. You are responsible for the continuity plan and its development according to the organization's needs, and you participate in various investigations and projects within the bank where you contribute with your expertise. Future challenges include ensuring that the RIX system and operations are adapted to the demands of the organization and the external environment. The position also includes scheduled incident preparedness. Participating in the incident organization involves being on call 24/7 according to a rotating schedule.
YOUR TEAM
The Payments Department is tasked with providing a payment system for the settlement of payments in Sweden, coordinating crisis preparedness within the central payment system, and supplying the country with cash. The RIX operations are divided into three units: the RIX Operations unit, the RIX Management unit, and the RIX Business Development unit, all of which are part of the Payments Department. You will work in the RIX Operations unit. Here you can read more about the Riksbank's organization.
You will be part of a team of 12 employees consisting of risk managers, continuity and preparedness managers, customer managers, analysts, and system operators. You have several internal and external contact points, such as RIX participants, other authorities, and other central banks. Participants in RIX include credit institutions, securities companies, clearing organizations, securities central depositories, central counterparties, e-money institutions, and payment institutions, as well as the National Debt Office.
MORE ABOUT YOU

Experience in total defense planning, security protection, IT security issues within financial infrastructure, banking, or the financial sector is considered an asset. Also, experience working in the payment area and a good understanding of how the payment system in Sweden is structured, as well as knowledge of the RIX system or other critical systems, is advantageous.

You also have the ability to grasp complex issues in a natural and simple way and adapt your communication depending on the audience.
You are a stable and mature person with good judgment who is driven to deliver high quality. You work in a structured manner and are skilled at presenting and communicating your message. You are proactive, flexible, and can easily adapt to new circumstances and see opportunities in changes. You are used to independently driving your tasks forward, both individually and together with others, and you take responsibility for contributing to the unit's long-term goals.
