Job Description

As a security guard, you have a genuine desire to build good relationships and respect everyone, regardless of background. You are employed by Securitas but work under the police authority's regulations. Your main task is to make people feel safe in their daily lives. You do this by being present in public places, which hopefully provides a calming effect, but if the situation requires it, you are expected to act.

Securitas has varied assignments that in one way or another create a significant impact on other people's lives, and here you have the opportunity to make a real difference!

This position is suitable for you who enjoy working with people and want to make a socially important contribution. The current assignment involves stationing at one of our clients. You will be based in Sundbyberg and will primarily work Monday to Friday during office hours.

Requirements

We are looking for a calm and stable person who can maintain composure even when a lot is happening around you. You are humble, team-oriented, and service-minded in your interactions with the public, but also understand the responsibility of your role and can remain objective when necessary. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

• You have a security guard education and a valid security guard permit
• At least 2 years of experience in the security industry
• You have good knowledge of Swedish and English
• Driver's license B

For employment within Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements for approval according to each regulation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legality, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a comprehensive assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
