Job Description

As a patrolling guard during the night, you will work in the most central parts of Stockholm and be part of a smaller team. You will start from our office on Regeringsgatan and then go out on patrol where you will perform classic patrol guard tasks such as patrol assignments, lockings, alarm connections, and responding to alarm events. Occasionally, shorter stationary assignments may also occur in the schedule, making the work varied and dynamic.

This is a job for you who enjoy variety and being outdoors - you will drive around the city and be where the action is. Our operations run 24/7, every day of the year, and the work is organized in twelve-hour shifts between 18:30 and 06:30 with a 5/4 schedule, meaning you work two weekends per month.

Requirements

Mandatory

• Trained with at least Vu2
• Approved grades in Swedish and English from the first year of high school
• Driver's license B
• Previous experience in the security industry

Preferred if you

• Are trained as a security guard

As a person, we believe you are service-oriented, calm, and organized, and can handle periods of high work pace. You are interested in technology and have an easy time understanding instructions. We see that you, as an applicant, are an independent person who trusts your own abilities, quickly understands problems, and solves them creatively. You have a systematic and meticulous approach with an eye for detail. Great emphasis will be placed on your personal suitability for the position.

For employment with Securitas Sweden AB, it is required that you have approved grades from high school in Swedish and English and are approved by the County Administrative Board for employment in an authorized security company according to the Act (1974:191) on security companies (the application is made by Securitas). Depending on the position, a security clearance according to the Security Protection Act (2018:585) may also be relevant. To investigate and assess whether you meet the requirements to be approved according to the respective legislation, a background check will be conducted. The assessment concerns legal compliance, suitability, reliability, loyalty, and any vulnerabilities. Information obtained may come from you, open sources, or authorities. We apply a holistic assessment when evaluating suitability for each position.

Salary and employment conditions are based on the collective agreement between the employer organization Security Companies and the Swedish Transport Workers' Union.
