GKN Aerospace Sweden is part of GKN Aerospace, which manufactures engine components, aircraft structures, cabin windows, wiring, and much more for many of the world's aircraft. The companies in the Aerospace division that work with parts for aircraft engines form Engines, and at the facility in Trollhättan, advanced parts for engines for aircraft and space rockets are developed and manufactured. They also work with engine maintenance.

About the Role

As a Project Manager, you are part of our Supply Chain Management team within the Rotating Parts business area. The area is currently in a phase where the industrial structure is being upgraded and new product flows are being shaped. In your role, you are responsible for leading and driving projects that develop and optimize production flows and related operations. The work involves leading and coordinating cross-functional initiatives that ensure the area develops in line with the strategy and meets set goals.

The role also includes collaboration within the area, which may involve other tasks based on the needs of the business.

Your Responsibilities

• Lead and drive projects within Supply Chain Management and Industrial Structure to improve efficiency, productivity, delivery precision, quality, and cost control.

• Create, follow up, and implement project plans with clear goals, KPIs, and reporting.

• Contribute to developing business cases and strategic initiatives that support the area's development.

• Ensure that projects are delivered on time and within budget, focusing on risk management, sustainability, and results.

• Participate in the development and implementation of processes in areas such as: Production planning and capacity planning, Inventory optimization and material handling, Production control and visualization, ERP and SCM solutions.

Qualifications

•     Bachelor's degree in Industrial Economics, Supply Chain Management, or equivalent

•     Experience leading improvement work within industrial operations

•     Good communication skills, both written and spoken in Swedish and English.

•     Goal and result-oriented.

•     Experience leading teams and developing and maintaining cross-functional networks.
