We are now looking for an engaged administrative assistant to our authority department as one of our colleagues is moving on to other assignments.
The authority department for individual and family care consists of about 35 employees and is responsible for authority exercise in the areas of children and youth, LSS, social psychiatry, financial assistance, harmful use and addiction, domestic violence, elderly care, and contractors. Our administrative assistants are important support functions for the entire unit.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
We are looking for someone who has a natural sense of service and enjoys creating a positive experience. You are structured and orderly, enjoy having control over details, and are flexible and solution-oriented. You take initiative and make things happen.
You will have varied tasks within your area of responsibility. You will handle the municipality's estate matters. Your role also includes being a support for our employees in various IT, invoicing, and personnel systems, requesting and providing documents, handling register inquiries and extracts, archiving and disposal, and being a central part of the introduction of new employees in the unit. You will be both management support and unit support.
You will work in a broad and flexible role and will have contact with various units, social workers, internal and external collaboration partners, and suppliers.
You should also be prepared for new tasks that may need to be solved at short notice. You will have a varied job focused on providing qualified administrative support to the department's social workers within the framework of the processing process.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have relevant education, such as a social administrator, or other education that the employer assesses as equivalent. You have experience in administrative work and in working in operations that are subject to confidentiality and privacy obligations. Since communication and documentation are central parts of the role, you have very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written.
The role requires good knowledge and understanding of public administration. Experience in similar work and in the operational system Combine is an advantage. You also have good computer skills.
As a person, you are service-oriented, solution-focused, and have a strong desire to help others. You are unpretentious, administratively skilled, and comfortable in social contexts. You are structured, work efficiently and accurately, and have a good ability to coordinate and create trusting relationships in accordance with applicable decisions and guidelines.
