About the Position

As a Business Controller at RISE (Research Institutes of Sweden AB) within the food department, you will play a central role in supporting the business with analysis, business support, and qualified decision-making materials. The assignment includes work with reporting, follow-up, and analysis of both the business and its project portfolios. You will contribute to increasing profitability by evaluating and optimizing the use of equipment and following up on financial results. The role also involves coaching and supporting the business in financial matters and contributing to the development of effective working methods.

Assignment Period and Scope:

The position of Business Controller is a full-time consulting assignment starting on 2026-01-21 and is expected to last until 2026-07-30, with the possibility of a 6-month extension. The position is located at Frans Perssons väg in Gothenburg, with on-site presence at least three days a week.

Requirements for the Position:

• Economic education equivalent to a university degree
• Experience in controlling roles within research institutes or similar organizations
• Good analytical and communicative skills
• Fluent in both spoken and written Swedish and English
• Experience working in Excel

Meritorious for the Position

• Experience with project controlling within a research institute
• Power BI (business intelligence)
• Business systems – IFS
• Experience working with management teams
