Description
Are you a service-oriented person who enjoys helping others and wants to make a difference for the people of Gothenburg? We are now looking for temporary substitutes for our order center, which is a unit within the Mobility and Service Travel department at the City Planning Administration.
As a temporary substitute, you will be offered shifts based on the needs that arise in the operation.
Responsibilities
Your job involves handling bookings for transport services and flexible line trips in a pleasant and efficient manner. We handle approximately 2000 - 3000 calls per day, where your approach contributes to our customers feeling safe and welcome in their interactions with us.
Our working hours are scheduled on both weekdays and weekends between 06:50 and 21:10. During the training period, you are expected to be available full-time for about 4-5 weeks, with the last weeks being scheduled.
Qualifications
It is important for us that you are communicative, service-oriented, and engaged. You thrive in an operational role while having a genuine interest in people and enjoy helping others. You need to have patience, be clear, attentive, and meticulous.
You must be able to handle periods of high workload and have good teamwork skills.
In addition to the above qualifications, we are looking for someone who has:
- a completed high school education
- at least three years of work experience, preferably within disability services or another service profession that we consider equivalent
- good computer skills with experience working in various and complex systems
- good Swedish in both speech and writing.
It is advantageous if you have:
- knowledge of other languages
- good local knowledge of the Gothenburg area and good knowledge of public transportation.
Conditions
For the next two years, our workplace at Köpmansgatan 20 will be renovated, where all urban development administrations will gather. The new premises are expected to be ready by 2026. During the renovation period, our workplace will be located at Åvägen in central Gothenburg.
