Development Leader at Gryning Vård
Gryning is owned by municipalities – driven by engagement! For over 20 years, Gryning has offered HVB and open care for children, youth, and families, emergency and family homes, addiction care, supported apartments, interventions against honor-related violence and oppression, as well as LSS housing. We provide counseling and training and assist with placements. Gryning is owned by the municipalities in Västra Götaland through four municipal associations.
We are now looking for a development leader tasked with leading and coordinating the systematic quality work in the company. The position is a permanent full-time employment with start date according to agreement, located at the company's headquarters in Gothenburg and is part of the Development Function, which is one of three support functions.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
The Assignment
Gryning Vård is facing the challenge of further developing and strengthening the work with systematic quality management, as well as intensifying efforts to ensure compliance with regulations and routines. The role of development leader with a focus on systematic quality work will be central to the development work and will have a corresponding assignment as a SAS, socially responsible coordinator, has in municipalities. The role is partially new, and there are good opportunities to shape it within the specified frameworks.
The assignment primarily focuses on Gryning's quality management system according to SOSFS 2014:5 and the systematic quality work, where clear processes, governing documents, systematic follow-ups, and continuous improvement work are essential parts. Responsibility for the digital quality manual, for example, by continuously working on updates, clarifications, and improvements of its content, is also included, as well as responsibility for developing and implementing new working methods and approaches for both support and follow-up and control.
The assignment also includes planning, implementation, and analysis of the annual self-controls conducted in all operations, as well as participating in follow-up and analysis meetings with each unit. It includes providing process support and offering training/information to units and employee groups, such as counseling and skills development regarding documentation issues.
Other tasks within the assignment include
- monitoring the external environment in the area, including legislation and other regulations,
- collecting and analyzing various statistics, both at the company-wide level and at the unit level,
- conducting qualified investigations and compiling and analyzing data for decisions by the company's management or board,
- assisting with materials and process support in the work with business plans, interim and annual reporting,
- leading working groups and networks within the company,
- collaborating with other actors in the area.
QUALIFICATIONS
You have a relevant academic degree, such as a social worker, lawyer, or equivalent. You have several years of work experience in social work or equivalent, as well as from the application of current legislation and regulations. You have experience working with quality development and quality management systems, as well as qualified investigative work. You have experience handling extensive materials and statistics and conducting analysis, evaluation, and follow-up. You are accustomed to administering, managing, and developing digital systems and are genuinely interested in user-friendliness.
You have experience working in support functions and can easily navigate between the various roles it may involve; for example, leading, supporting, coordinating, and following up. You find it easy to collaborate with others and create trusting relationships around you. You can both persuade and listen, and you are able to drive processes all the way to completion.
You have good analytical skills and can absorb complex information to then compile and communicate the most important points to different target groups. You are meticulous, can see details while also having an overview. You can view things from a holistic perspective to understand how change and development affect different parts of the organization.
You express yourself well in both speech and writing and can pedagogically present different perspectives. You have administrative skills and a good ability to structure work and processes.
A driving license (B) is required.
A background check will be conducted prior to employment.

About Gryning
The Development Function consists of eight people: a development manager, six development leaders (including the advertised position), and a communicator.
At the company office, there is company management and support functions for development, HR, and finance. In total, we are about 15 people. Work is primarily conducted from the company office but involves some day trips in the region, often using the company's car. There is an opportunity for remote work about one day per week.
