We are now looking for an Accountant for our client Newsec. At Newsec, you will work in a modern workplace with many colleagues in finance in beautiful offices in the heart of Gothenburg. We are looking for a person with commitment and curiosity who has several years of experience in accounting and is ready to take on a new challenge. Here, you will be part of a dedicated and close-knit team. You will work alongside the leading specialists in Northern Europe's real estate market.

Your main responsibilities include independently managing:

• Financial statements and Annual reports
• Reconciliations
• Project accounting
• Financial reporting
• Result analysis
• Tax calculations and Income tax returns
• Managing property VAT, declarations, and adjustment rules

Qualifications

We are looking for someone with an academic background in finance, preferably with a focus on accounting. You have several years of experience working independently in a similar role, and we would like you to have experience in the real estate industry or an audit background. We work in Unit4 ERP, Adra Balancer, Adra Matcher, and PAL; experience with these systems is seen as a positive. You are a proficient user of Excel. Since we work with international clients and collaborate with colleagues at Newsec in other countries, you need to be fluent in both Swedish and English, both spoken and written.

As a person, you are meticulous, structured, and responsible. You need to be positively inclined towards change and enjoy working as a consultant. In your personality, you are proactive, have your own drive, and take initiative. Being a positive and unpretentious team player who easily collaborates with others and helps where needed is a given for you.
