Your Role

With us, you will be part of a skilled team developing today’s and tomorrow’s most advanced avionics systems. We are responsible for developing the process for safety-critical software for Gripen. In this role, you will work on process, tools, and methodology development, as well as support and training for the development teams across Gripen's software projects. You will gain a unique insight into the entire software flow - from requirements through development and testing to declaration of flying software.

Your Responsibilities

You will work broadly and variably, with examples such as:

• Developing and maintaining tools and methodologies for:
• Software testing
• Modeling and generating flying software
• Developing and maintaining the internal software process for Gripen
• Supporting functional development teams in methodology, tools, and processes
• Providing support on software development issues
• Participating in declarations of flying software
• Reviewing and supporting development teams' declarations

You will be part of a team where everyone contributes their expertise and experience based on interest and strengths. We have both junior and senior developers and technical leaders - so you will receive strong support in your development regardless of where you are in your career.

Your Profile

We are looking for someone who is driven to develop, learn new things, and contribute where it is needed the most. We have many possible directions - whether you are passionate about process development, software architecture, testing tools, Simulink modeling, or technical leadership.

We would like you to have a technical university degree, for example as an engineer, or equivalent experience that provides you with a good foundation to understand and work with software development in complex systems.

In addition, we are looking for someone who is:

• Detail-oriented and communicative
• Quick to grasp new situations - sometimes in areas that are uncharted for the organization
• A person who spreads energy and contributes constructively with improvement suggestions
• Someone who likes to get things done and finishes what you start
• Someone who values order and tidiness

The Avionics Systems EF area currently consists of about 100 employees who value knowledge sharing and collaboration to succeed together. Our common task is to further develop the new, unique, and highly competent avionics system that meets the requirements for future flying combat platforms.
