Örkelljunga is a municipality with a stable economy and currently has just over 10,000 inhabitants. We are now looking for a knowledgeable and engaged safety and preparedness coordinator who wants to develop and strengthen the municipality in this area. As an employee with us, you will be unique in your employment, building trust by creating good relationships. You will provide advice and support to the municipality's operations, businesses, and residents to enhance their self-capacity. Your placement will be central, and you will report directly to the safety manager.

The municipal management department consists of management, administrative unit, economic unit, and property unit. We are few employees where everyone is a key person.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

As a safety and preparedness coordinator, you will work at both strategic and operational levels. You will work closely with the safety manager who has overall responsibility for the assignment.

Your main task includes developing safety and security-enhancing measures as well as crime prevention, but you will also participate in tasks related to the municipality's development of crisis preparedness and the establishment of the municipality's civil defense.

You need to be analytical, organized, and used to coordinating multiple tasks simultaneously. You will move between municipal administrations, authorities, local businesses, residents, and associations. You need to be self-driven and take great responsibility for your tasks. You have the ability to see the whole picture and understand connections in a complex environment.

Your partners will primarily be various networks in the municipality, Family Helsingborg, municipal police, the County Administrative Board of Skåne, local businesses, associations, and faith communities.

The position is newly established.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone with a relevant academic education that corresponds to the assignments or equivalent experience that we assess as comparable.

Experience working in municipal or other public administration is an advantage.

A B driver's license is required.
