Job Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced person to take on the task of conducting and systematizing the social administration's security work. The assignment includes personnel security, physical security, information security, and continuity management, as well as the parts of the operation that are part of the city's civil preparedness and security protection aspects of our operations. You will be responsible for ensuring that applicable laws, regulations, directives, and collective agreements within the city and social administration are followed and must be well acquainted with the applicable legislation within the organization.

Through a proactive approach, you will support the management and operations.

The assignment also includes security work at an overarching and strategic level with the goal of reducing vulnerability in operations and creating conditions to prevent, withstand, and manage operational and societal disturbances. As the Security Manager, you will be the primary contact person for the management office in matters related to these areas.

Qualifications

For this position to be right for you, you need a higher education degree, such as a political scientist or engineer, and relevant work experience for the assignment. This means that you have experience working in areas such as crisis preparedness, security protection, or civil defense. We also want you to have experience working in public operations. It is an advantage if you have worked with these issues within municipal operations.

You need to have a B driver's license and be able to drive a car.

The position is classified in a security class, and therefore Swedish citizenship is required. For employment, a satisfactory result in the security screening with a background check, conducted in accordance with the Security Protection Act, is required. It is advantageous if you have a current security classification.
