JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

About the role

As a team leader, you are a key person in the operation. You act as an extended arm to the Head of the Bath and have a clear operational responsibility. You lead the daily work, coach the staff, and ensure a safe, efficient, and pleasant environment for both employees and visitors.

An important part of the assignment is to maintain a close, continuous dialogue with the team and work towards a good working environment. You work closely with the operations, are solution-focused, and actively contribute to the development of both staff, routines, and the service of the bathhouse.

Your main areas of responsibility

Leadership and operational development

• Lead, coach, and distribute the daily work within the team
• Participate in the management group and contribute to operational development
• Plan and follow up on routines, responsibilities, values, rules, and self-control
• Follow the established Culture and Leisure Strategy in Burlöv Municipality and the unit goals applicable to Burlövsbadet
• Introduce and mentor new employees
• Lead pulse meetings and operational meetings

Staff and working environment

• Actively work with the working environment together with safety representatives and the head of the bath
• Coordinate scheduling together with the scheduler
• Follow up on working hours, absence, and staffing
• Conduct risk assessments and develop action plans
• Ensure that staff are informed about safety procedures and chemical handling

Service, premises, and operations

• Have a close collaboration with associations and other stakeholders
• Ensure that premises and inventory are well-maintained
• Handle error reports in collaboration with technical staff
• Assist with events, purchases, and projects
• Be an ambassador for digital systems and processes
• Actively participate in the activities of the operation

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who has:

• High school education, preferably with a focus on leisure, health, or leadership
• Experience working in bath operations, other public activities, or service professions
• Previous experience in leadership or work management
• Good computer skills and ability to handle administrative systems
• Very good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written
• Valid lifeguard certificate (or willingness to obtain this)

You are confident in your leadership and communicate in a clear and trustworthy manner. With a strong sense of service, good structure, and a solution-oriented approach, you tackle challenges with a focus on results and quality. You find it easy to collaborate with others and contribute to a positive and engaged atmosphere in the team. Additionally, you are flexible, proactive, and thrive in roles where you can take responsibility and drive the work forward.

Meritorious

• Education in leadership (work management or coaching leadership)
• Experience as a swimming instructor, baby swimming instructor, or fitness instructor
• Experience working with children, youth, or individuals with special needs
• Language skills beyond Swedish and English
• Experience from the public sector or non-profit association activities
