This is what the jobs are about

VA SYD is now looking for three Security Coordinators, each with a different focus.

The tasks include, among other things:

• supporting the organization and the security manager as well as the security protection manager in security and security protection work, either within the MAXIMA program or throughout VA SYD
• conducting risk analyses and information classifications, developing action plans, and following up and controlling security and security protection measures
• providing support, guidance, and training to assist the organization with expert knowledge

In the role of Security Coordinator MAXIMA (1), you will work with: coordinating security protection work in the program and be placed within the department for Sustainable Wastewater Treatment that drives the MAXIMA program.

In the role of Security Coordinator VA SYD (2), you will work with: support and coordination of security issues that fall under the responsibility of the Security Coordination unit. You will work for all of VA SYD and will be placed within the department of Technology and Security. The role will partly be shaped based on your profile/competence in security. Work with information security will be included.

In the role of Security Coordinator VA SYD/MAXIMA (3), you will work with: support and coordination of security and security protection work for all of VA SYD and be placed within the department of Technology and Security. The focus is on security protection and information security, but other issues of the unit will also be included to some extent. Part of your working time will support the work in MAXIMA.

All three positions are located at VA SYD's headquarters in central Malmö.

The departments' missions

The department for Sustainable Wastewater Treatment drives the MAXIMA program, which is one of the region's largest infrastructure investments and includes a new and robust Sjölunda wastewater treatment plant with new outfall lines in Öresund, a large pumping station, a wastewater tunnel under Malmö, a wastewater tunnel from Källby in Lund to Sjölunda in Malmö, and transfer lines to connect several municipalities. The mission of the Technology and Security department is to enable stable operations and accessible facilities for all of VA SYD through robust and secure technical solutions. Here we will drive development and innovation to meet demands for security, digitization, sustainability, and resilient systems. In addition to the Security Coordination unit, the department also consists of IT and digitization, Technology Center, BIM and GIS, and Property. The Security Coordination unit coordinates, leads, and develops work within the security area, for example in preparedness, civil defense, information security, data protection issues, security protection, and information management.

Your experiences

We are looking for someone who has:

• a university degree/technical college, e.g., in security protection, preparedness/civil defense, information security, data protection, risk management, or other relevant education for the position
• experience in working with analyses such as security protection analysis, risk and vulnerability analysis, and continuity management, as well as work with information security, data protection, or equivalent is meritorious
• knowledge and/or experience of the NIS regulation is meritorious
• previous experience in critical societal functions is meritorious
• knowledge and experience of legislation, roles, responsibilities, and practices within the security area is meritorious
