Folktandvården Årjäng is a pleasant, bright, and open clinic with a family-like atmosphere.

There is a wide range of expertise among the staff. Additionally, we visit and provide treatments at schools and nursing homes. We have 14 employees and treat 2,800 adults and 2,470 children and young people.

Living and working in Årjäng suits those who prefer to be away from the hustle and bustle of the city, but there are also good and frequent connections to Karlstad, Oslo, and Stockholm.

Here, you will work within your entire competence and treat both child and adult patients. Each year, there are opportunities to attend courses and participate in various networks.

Your Responsibilities

Your responsibilities will include all tasks within the profession of dental hygienist. This means that as a dental hygienist, you will treat your own patients in both child and adult dental care, including examinations, disease treatment measures, and preventive dental care.

You will work in a team with dentists and dental assistants. Team dentistry includes, for example, joint examinations, impressions, filling therapy, and there are also good opportunities for development and expanded responsibilities.

We collaborate with the municipality's schools and elder care through external activities, including training and outreach work.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed dental hygienist who wants to be part of our dedicated team.

You should have good knowledge of Swedish, both spoken and written, and enjoy meeting people in various situations.

As a person, you are self-driven, cooperative, and have a genuine interest in service and quality. With us, you will have the opportunity to work in an environment where we value both competence and care.

Folktandvården Värmland is part of Region Värmland and has 17 general dental clinics, distributed across 24 different units – from Sysslebäck in the north to Säffle in the southwest. Additionally, there are clinics in all specialist areas that treat patients on referral. We are a forward-thinking organization with a focus on quality and competence. Approximately 560 people work with us, collectively having extensive experience in promoting healthier dental and oral health.
