JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you want to work in a pleasant environment where you can make a real difference in people's everyday lives? The Health and Medical Care unit is now seeking an occupational therapist for a permanent position.

With us, you will be part of a team consisting of occupational therapists, physiotherapists, rehabilitation assistants, and assistive technology specialists. Together, we work to provide our residents with the best possible care and support both in regular housing and special accommodations in the municipality.

We offer you a flexible job with great variety where no day is like the other. This means that as an occupational therapist, you have a high degree of independence in how you organize your workday. We all work together to improve care for the residents of Hammarö municipality, and there is a high ambition in the group to do a good job. As a member of our workgroup, you have the opportunity to contribute to this effort.

Your area of responsibility is to assess and treat patients in their homes, which may also include the special accommodations available in the municipality. The assignment includes collaborating for good care and support with staff and focusing on what is important for our residents. It also includes training basic staff in health-promoting practices and patient transfers using lifting equipment.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for a licensed occupational therapist. Experience in rehabilitation within municipal operations is considered an asset. A valid driver's license (B) is required.

We place great importance on personal suitability and value qualities such as flexibility, independence, and good teamwork skills.
