The Ambulance Service in Värmland is county-wide with ambulances stationed in twelve locations.

The Ambulance Service is challenged by the acute care of injured and ill individuals in various environments. Through assessment and referral, we contribute to ensuring that care is provided at the right level. We strive for a good working environment with stimulating tasks and an individually tailored onboarding process. All new employees undergo a four-week introduction and position training.

We will have interviews and testing day on January 21st at the ambulance station in Filipstad, which you are welcome to attend!

Your Responsibilities

The Ambulance Service in Filipstad is looking for three employees for permanent positions. The job includes assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients to the appropriate level of care, as well as standard duties for nurses within ambulance care. Shifts will include both day and night work.

Health care is based on our patients' needs and the competence of our staff. We want to advance health care together with our employees.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for ambulance nurses and licensed nurses with at least one year of clinical experience. A B driver's license with at least three years of driving experience is required, and C1, C driver's licenses are advantageous.

As a person, you are secure and stable in yourself and possess empathetic abilities where you understand and meet others in a respectful manner. You have good collaboration skills, are motivated and persistent in your work, and are flexible if the situation requires it.

Before any employment, you must undergo work tests and pass an approved health examination conducted by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free working environment and applies mandatory drug testing for new hires.
