At the Child Health Center in Eda, you will be one of two child health nurses working alongside two midwives, an administrative nurse, an educator, and a social worker at the family center.

At the BVC in Arvika, you will be one of five child health nurses, and at the family center, we collaborate with five midwives, a social worker, two educators, and two family support workers.

Your Tasks

We are looking for a district nurse/child health nurse to be placed in Arvika or Eda.

With the child in focus, you as a child health nurse provide support and information on topics such as breastfeeding, nutrition, sleep, language development, vision, hearing, self-care, and child safety. Together with the parent, you will follow the child's development until school age. As a child health nurse, you will offer support in parenting, health monitoring, and vaccinations according to the national vaccination program for children aged 0-6 years.

Your Skills and Competencies

You are a licensed district nurse or child health nurse with prescribing rights.

A valid driver's license (B) is required as home visits are part of the assignment.

We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible, and engaged. We want you to contribute to a joyful work environment and take responsibility for both patients and colleagues, as well as the development of the organization. The work is independent but requires close collaboration within the team and with other stakeholders, which necessitates clear and responsive communication, teamwork skills, and a structured approach to work.

Previous experience in child health care is desirable but not required. Personal suitability is highly valued.
