Your Workplace

The ambulance service in Värmland is county-wide with ambulances located in twelve locations. We are a reasonably sized and cohesive healthcare organization with short decision-making paths that allow you to see the whole picture and have an impact.

For the summer of 2026, we are seeking new employees for the ambulance station in Kristinehamn.

Your Responsibilities

The ambulance service faces challenges in the acute care of the sick and injured in many different environments. By assessing, referring, caring for, and transporting patients, we contribute to ensuring that the patient receives good care at the right level. Our goal is to always have a secure patient who knows the next part of the care chain.

Work shifts will occur both day and night.

Healthcare is based on our patients' needs and the competencies of our staff. We want to drive healthcare forward together with our employees. We strive for a good working environment with stimulating tasks and an individually tailored onboarding process. All new hires undergo a 7-week introduction and position training.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for licensed nurses/ambulance nurses/specialist nurses with at least 1 year of clinical experience. As a person, you are responsible and flexible with good collaboration skills. A B driver's license is required, as well as at least 3 years of driving experience. C1/C driver's license is an advantage.

Before potential employment, you will need to undergo work tests and a health check approved by the region. Region Värmland promotes a drug-free work environment and applies mandatory drug testing for new hires.
