Your Workplace

We are now investing in psychologists in the primary care area of western Värmland.

Your main workplace will be the health center in Eda (Charlottenberg), but you will also work with the Årjäng health center as needed. The health centers Eda and Årjäng have a close collaboration, which means that you as a psychologist will become an important part of both operations.

You will belong to the primary care area of western Värmland. There are a total of five health centers in the area: Arvika, Eda, Nysäter, Säffle, and Årjäng. Your closest colleagues are at our conversation clinics, and within the operational area, there is also a psychologist in a management role.

Your Tasks

Work with mental health at the primary care level spans a broad field with patients seeking care from 18 years and older. As a psychologist, your task will be to work with mental health issues in adults at the primary care level. You will primarily work with evidence-based psychological treatment, screening for neuropsychiatric issues, and assessments regarding differential diagnosis.

You will alternate between physical visits and digital treatment contacts. We strive for a short waiting time for an initial assessment and good accessibility based on each patient's individual needs. We see further development and improvement as an important part of our work, as well as developing care and treatment for mental health issues. Supervision and continuing education are a natural part of the job.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed psychologist. It is advantageous if you have experience in treatment work and if you have previously worked in a health center. As a person, you are self-sufficient and stable with good judgment and a strong sense of quality. You enjoy collaborating and actively contribute to a good work environment. In your decisions, you consider the best interests of the entire organization and always work with a quality-conscious focus.
