Your Workplace

Röntgen Torsby is part of Imaging and Functional Diagnostics in Värmland, we work collaboratively across the region with various tasks such as bookings and reviews. The radiology department operates around the clock and performs approximately 26,000 examinations per year.

At our radiology department, about 20 colleagues work across several professional categories, we collaborate closely with each other and have a family-like working environment. We perform conventional X-rays, fluoroscopy, ultrasound, computed tomography (CT), and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI). We rotate between the different modalities, making the work feel exciting and varied.

We are now looking for an X-ray nurse for a longer temporary position.

Your Responsibilities

At the radiology department, we have a CT scanner, MRI, ultrasound, and conventional X-ray. We perform most examinations on our equipment and work towards everyone having rotation across all modalities and being able to handle a standard day program. We use RIS & PACS and Cambio Cosmic journal systems. We work three shifts at the department, which means we rotate between day, evening, weekend shifts, and nights.

Your Skills/Competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed X-ray nurse. You are proficient in the Swedish language, both spoken and written. Previous experience in radiology work is an advantage.

You are confident, stable, self-aware, and adapt your behavior to the situation. You find it easy to adjust to changing circumstances, can quickly change your perspective and approach, and see the opportunities in changes. You remain calm, stable, and controlled in stressful or pressured situations, maintaining a realistic perspective and focusing on the right things. You work well with others, relating to them in a responsive and smooth manner.
