Here you will have the opportunity to work with early rehabilitation, person-centered care, and contribute to a safe and secure discharge from inpatient care.

You will be part of a dedicated team of physiotherapists, occupational therapists, and care staff. Together, we work closely with the care recipient, focusing on collaboration and a holistic view.

Job Responsibilities

As a physiotherapist in home care, you will meet residents of Karlstad aged seven and up who live in their own homes. You will work preventively and functionally to enhance people's physical abilities and help them live as independently and actively as possible. Our focus is on early rehabilitation, person-centered care, and a safe and secure discharge from inpatient care.

In your work, you will conduct physical function training with the care recipient or instruct others on how it should be performed. You will also be responsible for prescribing assistive devices and assessing what adjustments or changes in the home environment may be needed. You will collaborate closely with physiotherapists, occupational therapists, nurses, and care staff, providing guidance and advice to care recipients, relatives, and other professionals. The role is independent and offers good opportunities to plan and influence your workday.

Qualifications

You are a licensed physiotherapist. Experience from municipal and/or regional operations is an advantage.

You are motivated by meeting people and always provide a professional response according to our values. Since most of your working hours are spent in the care recipient's home, you are independent, have good communication skills, are flexible, and collaborative. Therefore, personal suitability is highly valued.

To visit patients, you need a B driver's license and the ability to cycle.
