Your workplace

The health and medical care is Region Värmland's largest operation. Together with our patients, we strengthen public health and develop health and medical care so that it can contribute to a world-class quality of life for the population of Värmland. We operate 30 health centers with maternal and child health care and many other specialist clinics. In Värmland, there are emergency hospitals in Arvika, Karlstad, and Torsby.

The hearing care is a regional operation under the ear, nose, and throat clinic (ENT). This means that all hearing care has the same principal. We have operations in Arvika, Karlstad, Kristinehamn, Hagfors, Säffle, Sunne, and Torsby.

We are now looking for a full-time audiologist with placement in Hagfors. Currently, the Hagfors clinic is completely unstaffed but has previously been staffed by two traveling audiologists from Torsby and other locations. As the influx to hearing care is constantly increasing, we need to staff the clinic with permanent personnel on-site daily.

Our wish for the future is that more audiologists want to broaden their horizons and dare to move to northern Värmland. You are needed! Grateful patients are waiting, and a quieter life is offered! Your tasks

Hearing educators, social workers, and engineers have regional operations and are based in Karlstad, while audiologists are stationed in various locations in the region.

In hearing care, we work in teams around the patient and meet regularly in person or remotely. Work may, if necessary, be at other locations. Since there are few audiologists at these clinics, you will also handle daily operations in addition to hearing rehabilitation and hearing tests.

Since the hearing care clinics that need to be served are not very large, there will be variation in the work with basic rehabilitation, measurements, and technical aids. Sometimes you will also collaborate with other professional groups at the health center, but most of the time the work is completely independent, and if you have experience in the profession, it is very beneficial. There are varied challenges both with new and very old hearing aids.

Your knowledge and competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed audiologist. Since the work involves travel, a driver's license is a requirement for placement in Hagfors.

We work in AuditBase and Cosmic, and experience from these systems is therefore meritorious.
