Are you a nurse ready for the next step?

We are looking for a new colleague to join our home care team in Karlstad, where you will work closely with patients alongside dedicated colleagues.

As a patient responsible nurse (PAS) in home care, you will have a varied, educational, and exciting job where you can work both independently and in a team. Our care recipients are residents of Karlstad aged seven and above.

We offer an introduction tailored to your needs as a new employee, with guidance from colleagues in the team and training from our mentors.

Your Responsibilities

As a patient responsible nurse (PAS), you will have the main responsibility for the overall planning of the care recipient's medical health and care interventions. You will conduct home visits and assess which actions need to be taken, as well as document these. You are also responsible for guiding, delegating, and training nursing staff in health and care tasks.

As a nurse in municipal care, you will collaborate with various professional categories and agencies involved in the care recipient's treatment. You will also participate in improvement and development work within the team and organization.

Required Qualifications

You are a licensed nurse. Education in geriatrics is an advantage, as is experience in geriatric care and/or work in municipal health and care.

You need to have a B driver's license to reach our clients and also be able to cycle.

The job requires a professional approach and a good attitude according to our values in contact with our care recipients, relatives, and partners. As a person, you are collaborative, flexible, can work independently, and have an easy time communicating and cooperating in a group.
