We are a small hospital in northern Värmland with a big heart and commitment to our patients and employees, where all units and partners are highlighted as an important part of the hub for smooth and safe operations for those visiting us. At the hospital, we care about the health and well-being of our staff, and we have access to our own staff gym and a personal trainer.

The employment is valid until 2026-08-31, with the possibility of extension.

Your Responsibilities

At Torsby Hospital, three dietitians work together sharing the responsibilities.

The tasks include nutritional assessments and treatment of inpatients in our three wards: surgery/orthopedics and medicine. You will also meet patients referred to outpatient care, conduct group teaching, provide telephone advice, and conduct remote visits.

As a dietitian, you will provide knowledge support to other healthcare staff and be part of a team working with various patient groups. The work is very varied and flexible, and you have great opportunities to influence how you structure your day.

Torsby Hospital is the only hospital in Värmland that works with obesity surgery, where the dietitian plays a significant role in the process before and after surgery. The obesity team consists of nurses, dietitians, and surgeons.

Having multiple dietitians provides you with good opportunities to consult colleagues when needed.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for a licensed dietitian; experience in the field is considered an advantage. To thrive in this role, you need to enjoy working independently and structuring and executing your tasks efficiently. You see opportunities in changes and can adapt to changing circumstances. We also place great importance on your ability to collaborate, as teamwork constitutes a large part of the work.
