Your workplace

The Rehabilitation Specialist Care at the Central Hospital in Karlstad is a unit within the health and rehabilitation area. Approximately 80 employees work in occupational therapy, physiotherapy, and music and art therapy. The unit also employs rehabilitation assistants.

The Rehabilitation Specialist Care works with rehabilitation across several different clinics at the Central Hospital in Karlstad, such as neurology, geriatrics, oncology, infection, pediatrics, women's clinic, surgery, medicine, orthopedics, ICU, among others, both in outpatient and inpatient care.

Within the Rehabilitation Specialist Care, there are about 40 physiotherapists, which provides good opportunities for collegial exchange and knowledge transfer. There is close collaboration in daily operations, which means we help and support each other. We work based on a career development model that describes how one can develop in their clinical work.

Your tasks

You have the opportunity to ensure the overall care for our patients with kidney disease. Your work will be both in inpatient care on the nephrology department and in specialized outpatient care for patients with kidney failure. In our outpatient care, you will meet patients both individually and in training groups, as well as in the hospital's dialysis department.

Your skills and competencies

We are looking for a licensed physiotherapist who wants to help develop the business together with the rest of the team. Experience from similar work is desirable. Even if you are new in your professional role, we welcome your application! We care about your comfort in your role, and you will therefore be mentored by experienced colleagues.

You have a good ability to collaborate with others while being able to independently plan, organize, and structure your work. You consider the best interests of the entire organization in your actions and decisions and can adapt your work based on changing circumstances.
