At Arvika Hospital, much of the rehabilitation work within inpatient care and day rehabilitation is characterized by teamwork.

Within inpatient care, we work with two medical departments, one with a stroke unit and the other with heart patients, as well as an orthopedic department and ICU.

Patients come to the physiotherapy clinic by referral or seek care on their own. Outpatient rehabilitation includes treatment of individuals in: respiratory/circulation (including COPD, heart disease, and stroke), traumatic injuries (brain injuries and spinal cord injuries), neurology, rheumatology, and certain orthopedic conditions.

Within outpatient care at the hospital, there is a day rehabilitation program where patients (primarily newly diagnosed stroke and brain injury patients, as well as other neurology patients and those in need of team rehabilitation) are offered the opportunity for extended rehabilitation after their hospital stay. At the physiotherapy clinic, ten physiotherapists and three rehabilitation assistants work.

Your Responsibilities

We are now looking for a physiotherapist to be placed in medical department 79, combined with other work within inpatient or outpatient care focusing on respiratory and circulation. In department 79, heart patients, such as those with heart attacks and post-operative heart patients, are cared for.

Your Skills and Competencies

We are looking for you who are a licensed physiotherapist. For those who are licensed physical therapists, the title of physical therapist will be granted upon employment. As travel may be included in the position, you need to have a B driver's license.

We see that you take responsibility for your tasks and structure your work independently. You are calm and stable and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You work well with others and consider the bigger picture. Personal suitability is of great importance.
